The Master of Arts (MA) in Intellectual Property is designed to prepare candidates in understanding the various aspects of intellectual property and the dynamics of intellectual property management and innovation with a focus on business strategy. Graduates will obtain a thorough foundation in the fundamental principles of intellectual property law and will be able to address legal intellectual property issues such as the development of intellectual assets, licensing, copyright, trademark, and patent laws. This program is offered jointly with the Arab Society of Intellectual Property.

The Master’s program in Intellectual Property was developed to meet the growing need in the Arab World for professionals to tackle the development and protection of intangible assets in the economy of globalization. Admission to the program is open to candidates with bachelors’ degrees in any field of study. Preference will be given to graduates of law schools and to individuals who work in the field.
