Islamic business finance involves the revival of trade and investment principles and practices that were established centuries ago within the context of modern finance and the financial system. Islamic business finance meets the requirements of the principles and rules of Shari’ah whereby it is held that absolute ownership belongs to God and that man is the trustee in the administration of wealth in a just and equitable manner. Graduates of this program should be ready to sit for the Certificate in Islamic Finance examination offered by the Certified Institute of Management Accountants of Britain.
