AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD) participated in the
regional conference entitled: ‘Independent Media…Strong Community’, held in
Amman with a wide participation from media representatives from Arab and
international professional and media institutions.
Based on the instructions of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.GD founder
and chairman, Mr. Ihssan Al-Tamimi, Content Editing and Production Manager at
TAG.GD, held a series of meetings with distinguished Arab and local media
representatives. During these meetings, he reviewed TAG.GD’s prominent media
and professional activities, and its role in promoting Arab self-reliance on locally
manufactured technology through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech), a
member of TAG.GD.
Mr. Al-Tamimi further gave an overview of the services and solutions
TAG.GD offers in various fields, including, technology, knowledge and media,
highlighting the success stories TAGTech proudly achieved as a prominent Arab
company in manufacturing and producing smartphones, laptops, and tablets with
high-specs at affordable prices capable of competing with major global brands.
He also pointed to TAGTech's recent milestone of securing a United
States Patent for its innovative tablet, the “Smart Bag”.
Furthermore, Mr. Al-Tamimi reaffirmed Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s firm belief in
the pivotal role that professional media plays in disseminating knowledge,
raising public awareness, and advocating for Arab causes, alongside its vital
contribution to supporting national economies and driving sustainable
development.
He additionally highlighted several distinctive initiatives launched by
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in this regard, with particular emphasis on Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
Knowledge Media News Agency, which aims to establish a professional,
knowledge-based media model that keeps pace with rapid digital and
technological transformations.
