AMMAN – H.E. Dr.
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and Founder of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital
Group, announced the launch of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital
Polytechnic (TAG.GDP) on August 19, coinciding with World Humanitarian Day.
This pioneering initiative, the first of its kind globally, aims to bring about
a fundamental transformation in the education system and prepare human talent
for the era of the digital economy.
The launch
ceremony will be held through a global virtual conference, reflecting the
Polytechnic’s digital and global nature and enabling broad participation from
around the world, including academics, experts, researchers, institutional
representatives, and those interested in education and the digital economy.
The project aims
to invest in people as the true wealth by providing an innovative digital
education model that connects applied knowledge with labor market requirements
and keeps pace with the rapid technological transformations reshaping the
professions of the future.
The Polytechnic
focuses on developing practical, applicable skills and providing learning
opportunities for all without prior academic restrictions, thereby promoting
equal opportunity and opening new horizons for young people, particularly in
the Global South.
The Polytechnic is
built around a range of vital disciplines driving the digital economy, most
notably artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, financial technology, digital
marketing, innovation, and digital leadership. These are delivered through
progressive learning pathways based on applied learning and practical projects,
ensuring that graduates are ready to integrate directly into the workplace.
The Polytechnic
also provides a flexible digital learning environment that enables learners to
study from anywhere and at any time, in five global languages: Arabic, English,
French, Spanish, and Chinese. It operates in partnership with international
institutions and offers accredited digital certificates that demonstrate
professional competence and enhance learners’ competitiveness in global
markets.
The launch of
TAG.GDP represents a pivotal milestone within the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh digital
education ecosystem, which seeks to redefine education as a tool for creating
opportunities and driving innovation, rather than merely a means of acquiring
knowledge. Through this vision, the initiative contributes to building a
knowledge- and technology-driven economy.
